Fort Victoria RV Park is hiring a seasonal employee beginning late spring and ending September. There is an opportunity to continue working at Fort Victoria each summer. Applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a full-time position offering approximately 30 hrs to 40 hrs per week. Full training will be provided on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Book new arrivals in computer and take payment.
  • Take phone reservations or messages.
  • Check RV sites to see if they are empty (after checkout time).
  • Eliminate or redirect problems within the park.
  • Provide tourist information/advice.
  • Give directions to places.
  • Book reservations - whale watching, sight-seeing, car rental, high tea, taxis.
  • Sell gift shop items.
  • Tidy and dust the gift shop.
  • Occasional outside work to maintain park - painting, watering flowers, sweeping.
  • Roll quarters from Laundromats.
  • Answer enquiries for long term occupants and storage.
  • Do paperwork for long term occupant arrivals and departures.
  • Handle monthly rent and site payments.

Job Requirements

  • Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • The ideal candidate would be a student graduating in a few years.
$13 per hour to start
