We are looking for Guest Services positions for the 2021 summer season at a wilderness resort. Our Guest Services staff are a vital part of our team and essential in contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Our positions offer a change of duties from day to day, that keeps things interesting and you on your feet and one that you certainly won’t get bored in.

Located on the west coast of Vancouver Island Eagle Nook Resort is an all inclusive fishing and wilderness resort that caters to adventure seekers and fishermen from all around the world. It is accessible via 1 hour boat trip from Port Alberni or 40 minute seaplane from Vancouver.

Our guests come to us to have the most relaxing and enjoyable west coast experience possible. While the fishing is great, what brings our guests back year after year is the attentive personalized service from our hard working staff, and the overall unique experience of gourmet food, and comfort in a wilderness environment.

The Guest Services Positions includes; housekeeping, dockhand, as well as guest services responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Serving breakfast/lunch/dinner, bartending,  guest check-ins/check-outs, fish processing and packing, housekeeping, laundry etc. We are a small staff and therefore this position is quite varied and each person is an integral part to ensuring our guests have the best experience possible.

Preference will be given to those who have previous serving and remote resort experience, but we encourage any team-oriented individuals to apply. We are looking for someone who is excited about working in a remote wilderness location, has a love for the outdoors, a strong work ethic, and above all, a positive team-oriented attitude!

The contract would begin in May 2021 and would carry through to mid-September 2021. Accommodation on site is provided and with all meals included.

Requirements:

FoodSafe and Serving It Right required

First Aid certification is an asset

Bartending experience an asset

Previous hospitality/tourism industry experience an asset
