Keeping our lodge clean and organized, clean rooms for new guests.

Information about the company:

The Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest hotel in the Muncho Lake/Liard River Hotsprings and Toad River region.  Our Lodge is directly situated on the historic Alaska Highway and surrounded by the stunning nature of British Columbia.  Beside the regular hotel service we offer stays in outpost cabins bush pilot adventure, fly-in fishing and other types of flights as well. Liard Air has been operating since 1981.


  • Clean hotel, motel, and cabins as well as restaurant/kitchen and common areas to our high cleanliness standard
  • Maintain campground and public washrooms
  • Keep gas station and property tidy
  • Laundry duties
  • Note discrepancies and damage in rooms and notify maintenance personnel

We offer

  • Subsidized room and board available for $400/month
  • Bonus/travel allowance $200/month paid on the agreed contract end date and if completing employment
  • Salary based on experience $12-$15hour

Due to Muncho Lake’s remote, northern location you, as a permanent resident, will have significant tax advantages through the Northern Allowance tax act.

Starting date of employment April / May 2015 until minimum October 15th, 2015.

Job Requirements


Must speak fluent English. Possibility for the right candidate to stay on year round.


  • Must be physically able to repeatedly climb and descend stairs carrying 40 pounds
  • High attention to detail
  • Time allowance for rooms is: 30 minutes for departing guests/room, 15 minutes for stay over guests/room.
