This 114-year-old, non-profit organization has an annual operating budget of over $70 million dollars and generates revenue through four activity streams: the 15-day annual summer Fair and winter Fair which average more than 700,000 people annually, Playland amusement park which welcomes 400,000 guests annually including Fright Nights, and a busy year-round portfolio of events including concerts, trade shows and film, cultural and community events. In total we bring over 2 million people through the site each year. The fourth activity stream is park care and facility maintenance. The PNE Gaming Department oversees all gaming functions including PNE Prize Home Lottery, 50/50 Draw, and Wheel of Fortune Games. Responsibilities & Qualifications

What will you do this year?

In your role as a Lottery Clerk Helper your primary accountabilities will be to:
-Assist with answering phones and Input Prize Home entries and results into the computer system.
-Completing other ticket fulfillment tasks (separating tickets, stuffing and mailing receipts)
-Assisting with the in-house printing and controlling of the tickets
-Operating office equipment, including personal computer, photocopier, and postage machine
-Perform other related duties as required

What else?
-Successful completion of Grade 12
-Must be 19 years of age or older by May 1st, 2024.
-Previous experience working in an office environment is an asset.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and strong typing skills
-Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time with a high degree of accuracy.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
-Ability to take directions and follow through on work.
-Ability to deal with confidential matters and use discretion.
-Ability to work in a stressful environment and meet multiple service demands.
-Must be an energetic and self-motivated team player.
-Candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.

Availability requirements:
-Must be available to work between 9am – 9pm from Monday – Friday.
-Must be available to work up to 7.5 hours and atleast 5 shifts per week.
-Must be available to work through Labor Day weekend and from November – January during the PNE Winter Lottery.
-Candidates must have flexible availability as the call centre is open 7 days a week.
-Must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts as operationally required.
