Do you want to experience the lifestyle in Whistler, BC- Canada’s premier ski resort town? Pan Pacific Whistler is looking for a full-time, year-round Maintenance Supervisor. We are looking for dynamic and physically fit individuals for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure and practice high standards of safety to safeguard the well being of our guest, associates, and the physical property.
• Pool and Spa: Regularly inspect the pool and tubs water quality and review the chemical charts.
• Conduct regular audits on the various areas of the facilities.
• Keep track of PM report in organised manner.
• Conduct regular parts inventory check and provide the Maintenance Manager with part reference and quantities required.
• Master all common tasks in order to provide guidance to team members.
• Assist in special projects execution.
• Supervises and lead Engineering staff in absence of Maintenance Manager or Director of Technical Services (E.g. Vacations or days off)
• Maintain highest standard of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude towards guests, clients and other associates.
• Contributes an energetic and positive attitude to the hotel atmosphere

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a Hotel Maintenance/Engineering department.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality industry.
• Familiar with Strata titled Hotels.
• Successful completion of Pool Operator 1 course.
• Good proficiency in computer programs including hotel reservation software and Microsoft Office.
• Good technical aptitude skills.
• The ability to lead by example.
• Posses an ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels.
