Reporting to the Director of Finance & Administration and the Executive Director of Operations, the POS Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, administering and supporting Restaurant and Corporate information technology systems, particularly for Point of Sale (POS). This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, outside-of-the-box technical individual who is looking to join an innovative multi-brand organization and be part of a remarkably dedicated team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & oversee all day to day POS configurations & integrated applications, including ownership tree, new locations & users, menu & menu rollout implementation, gift card processing & promotions
  • Lead department-wide POS data reporting, including sales, sales mix reporting & promotion results
  • Work with IT Managed Service Provider to facilitate equipment sourcing, costing, inventory & installation support of Franchise POS
  • Manage audits database & export data to build pivot table/charts/reports for easy interpretation & business analysis
  • Maintain & revise technical documentation updates & communicate to Operations team &/or other stakeholders when required
  • Manage and support Microsoft Sharepoint, able to maintain and troubleshoot all aspects of this software
  • Support ongoing operational processes related to IS such as restaurant openings, training & menu roll outs
  • Coordinate & collaborate with vendors & service providers to integrate & link business functions & processes
  • Documentation of policies, procedures & processes to ensure information is accurate and up to date

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience with Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of POS system functionality, API (Application Program Interface) & menu item construction
  • Advanced Excel skills with workplace application, particularly using pivot tables
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including proven procedural documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to change, track multiple projects simultaneously & update/fix shared systems
  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree with a technical major such as Systems Administration, Information Technology or related discipline. Preferred not required
