Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer reservation phones and handle all guest inquiries relating to potential reservations, with the goal of converting calls to rooms booked
  • Ensure that all reservations and inquiries are handled according to established standards
  • Enter group room blocks and reservations as required

Job Requirements

  • Related experience in Reservations, Front Desk, or Switchboard in a Hotel/Resort setting and/or experience in a Receptionist or Administrative Role of at least 1 year is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and strong computer skills
  • Previous experience with Opera is a definite asset
  • Hospitality related Degree or Diploma an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional, well organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter, and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy work environment
  • Sincere desire to work in a Quality based environment and to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills required
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
