Job Description: 

As the manager you are the face of L'Abattoir and everything we stand for. You are the first person the guest sees when they enter the restaurant, and the last person they see as they leave. The role requires first and foremost a bubbly, sincere & astute personality, as well as, great multi-tasking skills, good time-management skills, great attention to detail and an ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

It is a requirement of the management position that you be familiar with the Open Table or similiar Software. Open table is the hostess and managers' best friend. If you are unfamiliar with the software, you will be trained, as this is our most important tool for making, cancellations or changing reservations. It also helps you oversee the evening’s seating arrangements and check if there are available time slots for potential diners.

A very important note for making reservations is the allocation of time depending on the size of the group.

Wine knowledge a huge asset to this postion, junior studies also welcomed as the environment at L'Abattoir is one for learning, growth and development.
