We are looking for both Part-Time and Casual roles to fill.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position is responsible for:

  • Cleaning assigned rooms/suites according to Brand Standards and ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
  • Correctly and safely using all cleaning equipment, products, and materials.
  • Being helpful and courteous to guests and co-workers at all times.
  • Supplying guest rooms/suites with amenities according to the Brand Standard set-ups.
  • Immediately reporting any safety hazards, maintenance defects or other room-related problems.
  • Promptly reporting and handing-in Lost and Found items.
  • Following-up on special cleaning instructions.
  • Being security conscious on guest floors and in back of house areas.
  • Laundry duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Embracing the Brand Vision Statement and core values.

Job Requirements

  • 1 year previous experience in a Hotel Housekeeping Department or Maintenance.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Comfortable with a casual position with flexible hours (minimum 8 hours daily).
  • Comfortable and willing to work weekends/weekdays & evenings.
  • Good communications & listening skills in both written and spoken English.  
  • Comfortable using voicemail, email and company communication systems appropriately.
  • Ability to lift and push up to 30 Ibs.
  • Able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to complete various tasks, in priority sequence with positive outcomes.
  • Maintains a positive attitude, good team player and willingness to learn.
