LinkBC Transitions its Tourism Student Initiatives to go2HR

For over 12 years, LinkBC and its predecessor (the BC Centres for Tourism & Hospitality Leadership and Innovation) have been working with post-secondary programs across BC with a mission to enhance professionalism in BC's tourism industry by creating and strengthening connections between post-secondary and the industry.

As of April 2016, LinkBC is closing its doors, but the good news is that some of its signature programs will be transitioned over to go2HR – and we couldn’t be more honoured to take on this work! These programs include the Student Case Competition, Student-Industry Rendezvous, the Orange Book of Success career planning guide, partnering with industry on student financial awards, and an enhanced training and education directory.

"LinkBC has played a significant role in connecting students to BC's tourism industry and helping them enter the workforce," says Arlene Keis, CEO of go2HR. "We look forward to carrying on the legacy that LinkBC has left with industry and the student community."

We warmly thank LinkBC, and General Manager, Morgan Westcott, for the important work that LinkBC has done over the years. Stay tuned for more information in the near future.
