Do you have an idea that could help improve workplace health and safety?
WorkSafeBC is pleased to launch their Innovation at Work grant competition, with applications due February 14, 2020.
Some of the best solutions start with simple ideas. The WorkSafeBC Innovation at Work research grant can help you develop your idea into a solution that makes a difference in the workplace.
These grants support small-scale research projects that lead to the development of practical solutions to address workplace health and safety issues.
- Multiple grants and awards are given out each year
- Grants are typically $50,000 for one year
- No specific education or research training is required
- Projects should align with our research priorities
Any Canadian resident may apply for this competition and applications are welcomed from individuals with academic and non-academic backgrounds, as well as industry professionals.

About Research Services at WorkSafeBC
WorkSafeBC is dedicated to achieving a province free from workplace injury, disease, and death.
