SuperHost is a suite of quality, affordable customer service training courses for front-line employees. Delivered online and in classroom, SuperHost offers relevant, up-to-date content and best practices that meet the current needs and expectations of employers and visitors. First launched in 1985, SuperHost is recognized as the standard for customer service excellence in BC.

- Foundations of Service Quality (online and classroom)
The course introduces the principles of providing a quality service experience in the workplace, and provides an understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service. You will learn about workplace communication, problem solving, customer and employer expectations, and more. We welcome registrations from all jurisdictions including the U.S. and Mexico
- Destination Ambassador (classroom)
This fun and interactive half-day course is delivered in partnership with a local visitor centre, chamber of commerce, or regional tourism association, knowledge on how one becomes an Ambassador in their community to contribute to a positive, authentic visitor experience that shows all that a community has to offer.
- Service For All (online)
This online course teaches appropriate inclusive service and its importance in the customer experience. Students will learn about expectations and practices around specific customer groups, including but not limited to different generations, persons with disabilities, LGBTQ/2S people, visitors from different ethnic and language backgrounds.

Q. How do I get a SuperHost certificate?
A. You can obtain a SuperHost certificate by taking a SuperHost course and passing the final exam. Currently, you can take a Foundations of Service Quality classroom course through a registered SuperHost Training Provider. Upon successfully passing the online exam at train.go2hr.ca and completing a short survey, you will receive your certificate via email in a digital PDF format.
Q. What is the passing grade for obtaining a SuperHost certificate?
A. You need to achieve a grade of 70% of higher in your final exam in order to receive a SuperHost certificate.
Q. How many attempts do I have to pass the final exam?
A. You will have two attempts to pass the final exam.
Q. What happens if I do not pass my second attempt of the final exam?
A. If you do not achieve a grade of 70% or higher on your second attempt of the final exam, you need to register again to re-take the course.
Q. Are classroom courses available in languages other than English?
A. At this time, all SuperHost courses are only available in English.
Q. Does my SuperHost certificate expire?
A. No, your certificate does not expire.
Q. I lost my certificate. Can I get another copy?
A. You can sign in to your online account at train.go2hr.ca and generate another copy of your certificate. You will receive the digital replacement certificate via email.
Q. I’ve changed my name. How do I obtain an updated SuperHost certificate?
A. We can change your name on your SuperHost certificate if you provide us with a copy of a legal document showing your previous name and current name. Documents can be any government issued ID, your birth certificate or marriage certificate. Please write a short note requesting your name change and email it to SuperHost@go2hr.ca. Typically your request will be processed within five (5) business days. You will be notified once your name has been updated, and you can log in and print out your new certificate.
