About Us
The mandate for the Parksville Beach Festival Society is to create fun, family friendly events along side Parksville's main beach and to support community groups. The Parksville Beach Festival Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition runs annually in July & August. This 5 1/2 week festival is primarily run by volunteers (annually over 2700 volunteer hours), with the exception of a paid Event Manager and several summer students. Attendance to this festival runs well over 100,000 annually.
