Job Description

Hours per week: 20-32+ hours (hours can change due to season requirements)

Wage: $24.47/hour based on experience Shifts: 5:45-11am (Tues, Wed, Thur) & 4-9pm (Tue & Wed) & 4-11pm (Thur).

For the right candidate we can also look at the possibility of a weekend shift pattern. Schedules can be discussed upon interview.

Our Shuttle drivers safely and efficiently move team members from staff accommodation and satellite parking facilities to our Gondola Base. Their exceptional guest service skills, courteous demeanour, and sense of humour will provide team members with an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent professional, engaging and friendly guest service

• Provide general maintenance and cleanliness of the shuttle bus

• Completion of thorough pre-trip inspection before every shift • Ability to work weekends and holidays

• Ensure shuttle logs are accurate and up to date

• Provide and maintain a safe environment for all passengers, other vehicles on the road, and all staff working in or around the parking lot areas

• Ensure compliance with Sea to Sky Gondola Occupational Health and Safety Program and the Regulation of WorkSafe BC

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Must be 21 years old, possess a BC class 4 (or lower) unrestricted driver’s license & a clean driver’s abstract

• Must be mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated

• Must be able to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgement, while remaining calm under pressure

• Previous experience is an asset • Must be in good physical condition to provide assistance to individuals using mobility aids or wheelchairs

• Knowledgeable about the Sea to Sky Area
