Position Overview: Campground Attendant

Are you passionate about the outdoors and thrive in an outdoor environment? Sandstorm North Contracting is currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Campground Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only enjoy interacting with the public but also be wholeheartedly committed to maintaining clean and organized campground facilities.

Job Type:

• The position is seasonal, running from May 1, 2024, to September 3, 2024 (Approx).
• Entails full-time employment with rotating shifts.

Positions: Park Operator

• Moberly Lake Provincial Park
• Beatton Provincial Park
• Charlie Lake Provincial Park
• Kiskatinaw Provincial Park
• Gwillim Provincial Park
• Swan Lake Provincial Park

The campgrounds are located around Fort St. John, Chetwynd and Dawson Creek.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• First, warmly greet campers upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
• Subsequently, meticulously collect campground fees and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Additionally, conduct routine inspections to ensure consistent adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Furthermore, provide informative guidance to campers about park amenities and local attractions.
• Diligently monitor campground activities to ensure strict compliance with rules and regulations.
• Undertake light maintenance tasks such as cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies, and removing litter.
• Promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to management for swift resolution.
• Collaborate with other team members to collectively ensure a positive camping experience for all visitors.

Qualifications:

• Firstly, demonstrate honesty and integrity in all interactions.
• Additionally, display the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with the public.
• Be organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.

Salary/Wage

$19/hr
