Do you like to supervise and have a passion for coordinating server teams? Join our team as a Banquet Lead Server and play a vital role in creating memorable connections with our guests and team members.

What your day will look like:
• Must be able to oversee smaller functions and assist with the general operation of the floor during slower periods.
• Must be able to supervise the server teams and coordinate their efforts in an effective manner.
• Control the flow of work for the function being served.
• Serving food and beverage items.
• Clearing tables and returning equipment to their respective areas.
• Gather all equipment necessary to service a function and maintain a clear and immaculate service corridor.
• Assist in moving any tables and chairs as assigned.
• Inform supervisor of any problems or complaints.
• Proper handling of all equipment, i.e. Props, glassware etc. ensuring proper storage after use.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding, pro-active guest service skills, a professional presentation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have previous banquet serving experience.
• Must have Serving it Right certification and Food Safe Level 1 certification.
• Must possess strong work ethic and have a drive to deliver high standards.
• Must be flexible to work varying schedules, including late nights and early morning shifts.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and have a sales-oriented personality.
• Work well under pressure and as part of a professional team.
• Must be fluent in English, a second language is an asset.
• Previous food and beverage experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Must possess strong food, beverage and wine knowledge.
• A good physical condition, as this position requires constant walking, standing, bending and lifting

Salary/Wage

$21.25-$22.00 per hour
