We are looking for sales-driven professionals with an impressive track record of meeting their targets and winning new Groups business. The right candidates will use their B2B sales expertise to scout new leads and secure fresh business opportunities. You’d be perfect for the role if you have 2 – 5 years of B2B sales experience. The Groups Business Development Manager will also be responsible for developing new sales channels and enhancing existing channels to build Indus branded business as a Canadian Group Tour Operator.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Business Development Manager will work with the Managing Director & VP of Sales of Indus Travels Canada to establish and deliver a group travel product that meets client needs and expectations. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for recruiting new Group Leaders, Group Travel Agents, Affinity groups, and Educational groups.

His / Her responsibility includes all administrative duties including reporting to the Management team on a frequent basis, business development and key account management, product training & presentations as well as dealing with customer service issues.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Create proposals for prospective clients
Input updates in the in-house CRM system
Follow up with prospects and clients to address questions and concerns

Home-based anywhere in North America or work from our office in Richmond, BC.


$60K - $85K Plus target based incentives

Compensation: You would earn a competitive base salary plus target-based incentives based on your performance. You would enjoy 2 weeks of vacation + 5 sick days in your first year with the company and 3 weeks + 5 sick days in the second year onwards - plus the chance to experience the products you are selling by traveling on a FAM tour. You will be provided with a company laptop, mobile phone & mileage reimbursement. You would also be entitled to extended health and dental benefits.
