Job Description

Would you like to be involved in growing the digital presence and marketing conversion of tourism destinations and businesses? Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism (CCCT) is seeking a talented individual to join our team. The CCCT seeks to market and grow the tourism industry in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region of British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
· Improve digital literacy and presence of individual tourism businesses through the development and/or execution of dedicated programming.
· Analyze regional market research, campaign results, channel / market resonance, and travel patterns to guide marketing efforts and use towards developing programming to inform business decision-making.
· Plan, execute and report on a regional social media calendar while supporting the region’s overall online presence.
· Manage collateral projects, including sales, timing, reporting and distribution.
· Engage partners and communities in regional and sub-regional brand & marketing projects.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media and digital platforms, contributing channels and how each can be deployed; utilization of reporting, analytics, market research, analysis and interpretation; business insights; social community/group management proficiency.
- 2-3 years in a similar environment, digital/social channel data analysis, ideally with proven success in conversion, and value creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related discipline.

- Effective communicator with an attention to detail in both written and verbal communications, with a default emphasis on using informed research and data to increase persuasiveness.
- Comfortable initiating interactions with others and demonstrating friendliness, using a collaborative approach for relationship-building.
- Skilled at searching for data, using analytics, and undertaking research with intuitive understanding of gaps to support direction and decisions.
- The ideal candidate will be results-driven in working with established objectives and processes while maintaining an interest of exploring new, faster, or better approaches to improving performance.
- Ability to adapt scheduling and management of assets and strategy to leverage new opportunities and be responsive to change.
- Able to maintain a multitude of varying work activities, including unplanned requests and a degree of routine tasks with high professionalism.
Salary/Wage
$20.00-$24.00/hr
