An extraordinary career opportunity. Ridge North America is looking for a General Manager for the NEW Okanagan Gondola project (OKANAGAN GONDOLA) expected to open spring/summer 2025. The project will be a major destination experience of a sightseeing gondola, mountain coaster and other amenities that will be unlike anything else in the exceedingly popular Okanagan region. The GM will be part of the Ridge North America team that specializes in a Play, Stay, Live development philosophy. A dynamic and innovative company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and team members.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As GM you will play a pivotal role in the success of the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project’s operations, assisting in visioning the operations then ensuring its seamless operation post-launch. Your leadership, strategic vision, and operational expertise will be instrumental in establishing our attraction as a premier destination in Western Canada. You are a visionary leader with a proven record of accomplishment of success and a passion for creating memorable experiences, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of entertainment in Canada.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

REQUIRED

● Senior management experience in a complex business environment in the tourism industry
● Proven record of success in developing, launching, and operating attractions, theme parks, or similar entertainment venues.
● Experience with lift systems, operations, and risk management best practices.
● Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

AN ASSET
● Excellent strategic planning and business acumen, with a focus on achieving financial targets and driving growth.
● Food and beverage, and retail management experience
● Marketing and branding, sales, and event experience
● Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and service.

Salary/Wage

120k +
