Maple Leaf Adventures provides high-quality adventures along the coasts of BC and Alaska, operated using the principles of regenerative tourism. Who You Are:

You’re an experienced Marketer who understands customer acquisition and what it takes to scale up, and test out new, marketing channels. You use your creativity in generating traditional and digital marketing campaigns, and your analytical and critical thinking skills to track and gauge what’s working and what you need to adjust. You have excellent strategic thinking skills and follow through, making you adept at managing campaign projects from planning to implementation. You’re a team player who enjoys and is effective at collaborating well with others to achieve success. An effective communicator, you have superb oral and written communication skills. You’re highly motivated to achieve results and you share our commitment to building an environmentally and socially responsible company that is world class in every way.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Growth Marketer is responsible for the offline and online marketing for the acquisition, retention, and loyalty of our guests through a variety of marketing channels that are responsible for 50% of direct sales targets. Your performance bonus is tied to your results.

This includes, but is not limited to:

– Planning, executing, and measuring strategic marketing campaigns.
– Developing and prioritizing programs focused on demand creation, capture, and conversion throughout the entire customer acquisition funnel.
– Analyzing data from multiple sources and ​​translating insights into actionable. recommendations that drive revenue.
– Collaborating and consulting with team members and additional departments to strategize and execute campaigns and projects.
– Managing promotion budgets and external contractors.
– Staying current on general and industry specific marketing trends.

Qualifications:

– Post secondary education or equivalent training in Marketing or Sales
– Minimum of three years experience generating demand for premium, high value products, preferably in the tourism industry, with demonstrated results over $3 million per year.
– Demonstrated knowledge of demand generation best practices and an understanding of consumer marketing, both in online and offline/traditional environments.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, WordPress, and PPC/social media management tools
– Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once
– Excellent copywriting and editing skills; proficient communication skills
– Results oriented with an ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

Salary/Wage

75,000 per annum, plus performance based bonus

Other Perks/Benefits

The base salary for this position is $75,000 per annum. We believe in rewarding high performance. Your compensation will include a performance -based bonus and there is the opportunity to grow responsibility for more of our direct sales targets within the year. Benefits Include a Staff benefits plan, opportunity to explore our coast with great people, gear pro-deals, and professional development funding. This full-time position generally works office hours, plus occasional on-call responsibility on weekends and evenings. This position is hybrid and requires the successful candidate to work from the Maple Leaf Adventures office in Victoria, BC a minimum of 4 days a week during onboarding.
