Job Description

The Janitorial Supervisor will report to the Executive Housekeeper to help manage and maintain the cleanliness and
sanitation of our establishment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:
-Meet deliverables set out by the Executive Housekeeper, as well as communicating and reporting clearly and in a timely manner
-Maintain the cleanliness of all assigned areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
-Manage schedules and staffing to ensure; appropriate service levels are met, control labour, and to maximize the work week
-Contribute to and complete employee training including; company policies and procedures, daily tasks and duties, orientation, and service excellence
-Department administration such as, but not limited to; reporting, personnel documents, inventory, outsourcing departmental needs, performance management, supportive training materials, uniforms
-Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
-Efficient and organized with attention to detail
-Strong management and leadership skills
-Excellent multitasking skills and effective time management
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a positive attitude
-Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management
-Ability to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects between 30-50lbs
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs
– Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, over-night shifts and holidays
