The Opportunity

Howe Sound Brewpub serves award-winning ales and lagers fresh from Howe Sound Brewery, Squamish’s original craft brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood. We are looking for a hard working, versatile and dependable Kitchen Helper to help our kitchen operate smoothly and efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, permanent
Salary: $16.75/hour

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and organize kitchen counters, work stations, shelves, cupboards and other food storage and preparation areas, as well as appliances and equipment
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Prepare simple food items
• Unpack and store supplies on shelves and in refrigerators and freezers
• Remove and dispose of kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit

What You Have:

• 1+ years of experience in the same or a similar role is an asset
• Punctual, hardworking and reliable
• Able to perform multipe tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Excellent team player
• Flexible and willing to learn new tasks
• Be fit and in shape

Salary/Wage

16.75
