Job Description

The main responsibilities of the Night Supervisor is to verify daily revenues, balance daily receipts and prepare a daily revenue summary on behalf of the Front Office and Finance departments.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Supervise night auditors, command center staff, bell/concierge staff and ensure they complete their checklists for the shift.
Supervise the night audit process and the closing of financial accounts to start the new business day.
Train employees for their duties, changes and needs of the industry, regulations, safety protocol, company service expectations and policies.
Coordinate with front office department by registering labour hours to payroll and ensuring correctness.
Develop reports regarding operational needs and publish key information about the next day.
Resolve work related issues and be responsible for the safety and security of employees and guests during the shift.
Ensure guests receive the highest quality of service
OnQ and previous Night Audit experience preferred
Familiarity with Guest Services operations & upselling techniques
Strong customer service-oriented focus and approach
Highly effective oral and written communication skills
Good judgement and can show initiative
Organizational skills
Effective interpersonal awareness skills
Accurate with basic computer skills coupled with mathematical
abilities
Is comfortable dealing with Emergency procedures
Ability to stand up to 8 hours
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Agile, motivated individual with positive outlook.
Professional presentation and grooming.
Ability to contribute to a positive environment for others.
Ability to function well in a multitasking, fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to think outside of the box
Valid BC Driver’s licence and clean Driver’s Abstract
Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
