Job Description
Chateau Victoria is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our experienced Maintenance team on a part-time basis.
If you are looking to build upon your current skills, our team can provide some excellent on the job training opportunities in a relaxed and friendly work environment.
This position would typically work Thursday and Friday evenings (1:30pm – 10pm) and occasional pick up of additional shifts to help cover sick calls or scheduled vacation time.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key responsibilities include:
- General building maintenance for the hotel and surrounding areas
- Perform maintenance operations such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs at the request of the Maintenance Manager
- Routine maintenance of the pool and hot tub
- Responding to guests and employee maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Completion of other maintenance projects as assigned
- 2 years maintenance experience in a similar environment
- General experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, cleaning, painting, HVAC and mechanical issues
- Competent with hand and power tools
- Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a Team oriented environment

Qualifications:
This Position has physical requirements:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Be able to push and pull carts and equipment on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill projects that need to be completed for daily operations.
Salary/Wage
22 - 24.50 per hour.
