Are you passionate about menu development and coaching teams to success? Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for a Restaurant Chef to oversee kitchen operations in Fathom Restaurant. Fathom offers a unique, seafood-forward menu and an elegant dining space.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Oversee restaurant kitchen operations to ensure a high quality of products
• Develop recipes and food presentation specs for Fathom
• Participate in local culinary initiatives to promote Fathom’s cuisine
• Support the Executive Chef with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Conduct monthly staff meetings
• Coach and motivate the Kitchen team to success
• Assist the Executive Chef with scheduling and payroll
• Work with the Executive Chef to prepare the budget
• Assist with stock inventory
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

What We’re Looking For:
• Red Seal certification and at least 7 years of culinary experience in upscale restaurants, with 2 years in a management position
• High level of creativity and experience with menu development
• Hands-on leader with demonstrated coaching skills
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Able to produce accurate and timely food costs
• Food Safe certification
• Accountable and professional, with a high level of integrity

Salary/Wage

68,000-72,000/yr
