Job Description

Kokanee Springs Resort has a need for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our team for the summer camping season. The Sales Representative is an integral part of the guest experience and is responsible for showcasing our brand and products available at the resort by providing guests with an exceptional experience throughout their stay and/or purchasing process. The successful candidate must display drive, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire for success.

The Sales Representative will work on site at the Kokanee Springs Resort in Crawford Bay, BC. Staff accommodation is available for this position.

As a seasonal business, the expectation is that there will be scheduled work on weekends and/or statutory holidays during the summer season.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Sales and Promotions

– First point of contact with first-time guests and potential long-term buyers
– Conduct effective and engaging resort tours while determining prospective buyers needs and wants
– Consistently contact all potential leads through phone calls, emails, and texts, using the company CRM system to generate new guests
– Manage inquiries and appointments by following up with leads in a timely manner through calls, emails, and social media
– Generate referral leads from new guest enrolments by providing outstanding customer service
– Send confirmation emails and phone calls for scheduled tours and reservations
– Provide guests with resort tours, product information and support during the purchasing process
– Become adept with all resort operations and sales system practices
– Manage inventory of sales collateral and marketing material
– Assist in qualifying potential guests and convert them into qualified buyers
– Continually inspect and ensure sales centers are appealing and presentable
– Track and follow up with buyers throughout the financing and purchase process
– Actively participate in all organizational mandated meetings/events contributing towards achieving organizational goals
– Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach programs
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and objectives

Guest Experience

– Greet guests upon arrival and engage in friendly and professional communication at all times to support our goal of providing superior customer service
– Display a passion for excellence in customer service delivery and promote a strong sense of community at the resort level
– Promote rebookings upon the check-out process
– Engage in regular communication with guests to receive feedback about their experience
– Maintain relationships with clients and seek referrals
– Work alongside the Resort Managers and Guest Services team to elevate the guest experience
– Promote scheduled activities and promotions onsite
– Communicate and organize guest events as required towards achieving organizational goals
– Maintain local knowledge of the community and market conditions to answer questions about each of our resorts
– Address any customer needs in a timely and efficient manner

Social Media

– Create content for company websites and social media platforms. Maintain profiles, promotions, initiatives, and other communication platforms
– Collaborate with in-house team members and external agencies or contractors to develop content ideas to increase reach, engagement and following across multiple social platforms
– Work closely with Pinnacle’s Sales and Marketing departments on initiatives including sales campaigns and lead generation projects

Qualifications:

– Demonstrated success in a sales role required, real estate sales or RV lot sales experience preferred
– Previous experience in a tourism or hospitality environment is considered an asset
– Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focused mindset
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Technology driven; proficient in Microsoft O365, cloud-based filing systems and CRM systems
– Effective time management skills and desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
– Ability to work well independently
– High attention to detail and quality standards; and
– Passion for the outdoors!

Salary/Wage

20.00/hour plus commissions
