Job Title: Storeroom Team Lead

Location: North Vancouver

Department: Food and Beverage

Reports to: Manager, Storeroom

Role Status: Hourly, Full Time Permanent

JOB SUMMARY:

The Storeroom Team Lead supports the overall operations of the storeroom, and in the absence of the manager or supervisor, will be responsible for running the department. The Team Lead will work closely with storeroom attendants in supporting the accounting operation of the department. This position is in correspondence to NOC14403 Purchasing and inventory control workers.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for receiving goods, matching product with orders, inspecting product to ensure condition and freshness; ensure proper storage of products
Store goods appropriately; follow “First in First Out” rotation of goods according to food safe practices 
Monitor departmental transfers of stock
Support and maintain internal auditing systems
Assist in monthly inventory: physical counting goods, posting, and reconciling of inventory in all our outlets
Assist Provisions Master and Inventory Analyst in maintaining inventory control
Monitor transfer of goods from Storeroom to all F&B outlets on the mountain
Assist various F&B Management with menu engineering, providing fiscal support and guidance if needed
Work closely with external suppliers to ensure timely product delivery and invoice reconciliation if needed
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with daily operational duties and supporting attendants

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Supervising Storeroom Attendants in the absence of Manager or Supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES

Food and beverage experience required
Computer proficiency in MS Office (advanced excel capabilities required)
Completion of secondary school or higher
Data entry and analyzing experience an asset
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills required
Able to lift 40+ pounds
Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with customer service skills
Responsible, reliable and must have the ability to work independently with little supervision

WORKING CONDITIONS

The job requires flexibility in terms of scheduling, different start times, including shifts on weekends or statutory holidays. The storeroom facilities include walk-in freezers where inventory counts are completed. Shifts require heavy lifting and other forms of manual tasks.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

Starting at $24.00 per hour
