Job Description
Join the Guest Services team at Cypress Mountain as a Lesson Sales & Lesson Desk team member and be part of creating unforgettable experiences. This role is perfect for energetic, friendly individuals who love connecting with people, sharing their passion for skiing and snowboarding, and helping guests get the most out of their time on the mountain and in the lesson programs. You’ll be the first point of contact for lesson bookings, on mountain check-ins and guest support, ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile and a great experience.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (included but are not limited to the following):
Team members will be cross trained in both positions but will specialize in one:
Lesson Reservation Team
• Manage reservations and private lesson requests.
• Resolve Guest inquiries.
• Answer phones and respond to e-mails.
• Address lesson-related inquiries from the Communications Center.
• Process Lesson Sales on RTP software.
Lesson Desk Team
• Check-in lesson guests in the Rentals area.
• Operate a point of sale terminal and end of day cash-out.
• Process lesson and rentals products.
• Prepare lesson lists and supplies for next-day lessons.
• Prepare Skooter/Kinder Camp pinnies for next-day lessons.
• Provide support for Lesson Desk Coordinator.
Joint Responsibilities
• Provide a welcoming and positive experience for guests and team members.
• Participating in a supportive and professional work environment that looks out for everyone.
• Provide detailed product knowledge (lessons, passes, tickets, rentals).
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform administrative tasks including data entry, account reconciliation, print registration lists.
• Maintain general cleanliness and organization of workstations and area.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of guests.
• Ability to remain organized and courteous when under pressure.
• Dependable and a self-starter – completes tasks independently, and follows through.
• Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; includes appropriate people in conversations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Availability weekends, evenings, and Christmas holidays
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Background check required.
Salary/Wage
18.50-19.50/hour
