A well-functioning Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) is a key component of a compliant Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program. Employers with 20 or more regularly employed workers are legally required to have a committee in place, and JHSC activities are often reviewed during WorkSafeBC inspections to assess compliance, worker engagement, and overall effectiveness.

Our JHSC Drop-in Service connects you with a go2HR Health & Safety specialist who will join your committee meeting (virtually or in person) for a 30-minute presentation on a safety topic of your choice. The remaining 30 minutes are left for your regular agenda items, helping you make the most of your meeting time.
