We are presently searching for a Sales Manager to join our team of hospitality professionals for a 12 month maternity contract. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Manage and engage with a robust market that includes Corporate Group, International Association and SMERF clients

· Conduct site inspections for guestroom and catering sales. Maximize revenue selling in all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form, to previous, current and potential clients.

· Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing accounts.

· Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.

· Travel locally and domestically (as required) to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, develop new business and attend industry conferences, shows and events, as needed.

· Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that specific account.

· Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction and cooperative focus with hotel operations teams.

· Other duties, as assigned.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

· Previous experience in a hotel as a sales manager or sales coordinator is preferred.

· Previous experience in the assigned markets, is an asset

· Passion for providing excellent client experiences and client engagement

· Working in a fast-paced environment and with a motivated team

· Exceptional administrative and time-management skills

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.

Salary/Wage

55-63K plus incentive
