Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties
-Keep work areas, equipment, and prep surfaces clean and sanitary, ensuring safe food handling at all times.
-Ensure freshness and quality by checking ingredients, regulating equipment temperatures, and rotating stock.
-Prepare and cook a range of foods, following recipes and plating standards for a great guest experience.
-Assist with kitchen organization, maintain proper food levels, and communicate inventory needs to the team.
-Support fellow team members and adapt to different kitchen tasks as needed, especially during rush periods.

Requirements
-Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety, and special dietary needs.
-Skilled in food preparation, knife handling, and kitchen equipment use, with attention to detail and quality.
-Able to lift to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to organize and manage time well under pressure.
-High school diploma required; Culinary Arts degree and Food Safe Certification preferred, with 3-5 years of experience in full-service restaurants.
-A valid work permit is required
-Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
