ALEX MRAZEK, DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST
Alex is responsible for providing development and technical support for go2HR’s websites, overseeing website administration, managing pay-per-click campaigns, and assisting with go2HR’s digital marketing initiatives. He joined the go2HR team in 2010 with more than 12 years of experience in website administration, design and content management, most recently with SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts. Alex studied digital marketing strategy, web analytics, web programming and graphic design at several post-secondary institutions and brings exceptional skills in search engine optimization and web statistics analysis to go2HR.

ALISA LOKSHIN, PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Alisa is responsible for providing front-line customer service and administrative support for go2HR’s industry training and industry human resource development programs. She joined the go2HR team in 2016 with 10 years of experience in customer service and administrative roles. Most recently Alisa was in the auxiliary pool at BCIT, where she provided project support for BCIT’s Learning and Teaching Centre, and administrative and customer service support for the International Student Entry Program. Alisa is a graduate of the New Media Design and Web Development Program from BCIT.

AMY KNECHTEL, ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Amy is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the go2HR team. Originally joining the team in 2014 as the Customer Service Representative, Amy’s previous role included interacting with Serving It Right and FOODSAFE customers, and helping with general inquiries. In addition, she has over three years of tourism experience as a tour guide with Landsea Tours & Adventures. She holds a B.A. with a major in History and a minor in Geography from the UBC Okanagan Campus.

ANDREA HINCK, MANAGER, INDUSTRY TRAINING
Andrea joined the go2HR team in November 2015 and brings more than 25 years’ experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, 10 of which are in human resource management at the operation and corporate levels. She manages and implements go2HR’s industry training programs and projects including SuperHost, the Winning Pitch and Student Industry Rendezvous. She also liaises with go2HR committees, industry associations, employers, training providers, and other stakeholders. Andrea is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and holds a certificate in leadership coaching and a diploma as a provincial instructor in adult education.

ARLENE KEIS, CEO
With over 25 years of HR management at the operational, corporate, and industry levels in both the public and private sectors, Arlene leads the development and growth of go2HR. She joined the team in 2002 and has since been managing and overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of the organization. Arlene has achieved a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from UBC, a B.Ed. from UVIC and is also designated as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources.

ARUN SUBRAMANIAN, DIRECTOR, INDUSTRY HR DEVELOPMENT
Arun joined the go2HR team in 2017 and has over 15 years of HR experience in various sectors such as hotels, airlines, retail and facility management. Arun holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and a Diploma in Hotel Administration from the Sophia Polytechnic in Mumbai, India. He is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and has completed management programs in HR at both BCIT and the Indian Institute of Management. Arun leads the development and implementation of industry recruitment and retention strategies and tactics in alignment with the BC Tourism Labour Market Strategy.

DEBBIE YULE, VICE PRESIDENT, Marketing and Communications
Debbie plays a key role in developing and executing BC’s tourism labour market strategy, including leading marketing, communications and industry engagement activities as well as managing the Serving It Right and Special Event Server programs. She joined the team in 2004, bringing with her over 10 years of senior-level corporate experience in marketing, strategic planning, business development, project management, quality and process improvement. Debbie holds a B.Comm. from UBC.

DENNIS GREEN, DIRECTOR, INDUSTRY TRAINING
Dennis is responsible for go2HR’s industry training initiatives, which includes liaising on behalf of industry with secondary and post-secondary tourism and hospitality training providers. Dennis has more than 20 years’ experience as a Red Seal chef and left his position as Executive Chef at Bishop’s Restaurant in Vancouver in 2007 to join go2HR’s industry training team. Dennis was inducted into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame in 2015 in recognition of his contribution to the cook apprenticeship training system in BC.

ELLEN LANGTON, CFO
Ellen, a Certified General Accountant, joined the go2HR team in 2013 with more than 25 years of experience in financial accounting positions. Most recently she was the Director of Finance with Global Spectrum, which manages the South Okanagan Events Complex in Penticton. Ellen leads the financial planning and reporting functions at go2HR, supervising the preparation of monthly financial statements and the annual budget and business plan. Ellen is also responsible for office administration and coordination of IT support.

GINGER BRUNNER, REGIONAL HR SPECIALIST THOMPSON OKANAGAN
Ginger is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and trainer with more than 15 years of applied human resources and management experience within the tourism/hospitality industry. Joining go2HR in 2016, Ginger brings experience in developing, facilitating and supporting HR programs, as well as facilitating a range of college and university recruitment initiatives. Based in Kelowna, BC, she works with tourism operators and stakeholders in the regionalization of key recruitment, retention and training initiatives as outlined in the BC Tourism Labour Market Strategy.

JACQUELINE NAKANO, CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Jaqueline is responsible for general customer inquiries, and customer inquiries for the Serving It Right and FOODSAFE by Distance Education programs, as well as providing general administrative support to the go2HR team. She has been with go2HR since 2010 and brings 18 years of expertise in customer service, administration and maintenance of client accounts and relationships.

JOYCE LAM, MANAGER, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Joyce joined go2HR in 2008 and she has over 10 years of marketing and communication experience with non-profit organizations. She is responsible for managing and overseeing go2HR’s corporate and program communications, marketing and public relations, including the go2HR.ca website, database marketing and social media. Joyce comes to go2HR with a BBA in Marketing from SFU Business, as well as Associate Certificates from BCIT in Public Relations and Marketing Communications.

MARIE-ÈVE (MEV) MASSE, TOURISM CAREER AMBASSADOR
Mev is responsible for liaising with BC’s education institutions and different levels of government to promote the tourism industry as a career option for BC youth and students. She joined the go2HR team in May 2017, bringing with her over 15 years of tourism and customer service experience. Mev completed a B.F.A. specializing in Art Education with a teaching certificate from Concordia University in Quebec. Most recently, Mev worked at Whistler Blackcomb as a snow school supervisor and a bike park camp coordinator.

MICHELE PRIDDY, Program Assistant, Industry Health & Safety
Michele joined the go2HR team in 2009, following more than 10 years of experience working in administrative and customer service positions. Michele is responsible for go2HR’s tourism-only job board, coordinating events and conferences, and providing assistance to go2HR’s marketing and communications team. Michele holds a Travel Agent Certificate from the Canadian Tourism College and has received training in occupational first aid and security.

MICHELLE SZ, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Michelle has worked with a number of non-profits before joining the go2HR team in November 2016. Most recently she worked for the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society in a communications and development capacity, and at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre running public education and engagement activities. She obtained her B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia with a double major in Astronomy and English Literature. In her role with go2HR, Michelle provides marketing, communications, and public relations support for go2HR’s corporate and program promotion, content and website management, social media and eCommunication.

Sherry joined the go2HR team in 2016 and brings two years of customer service experience in retail, sales, and hospitality. At go2HR she is responsible for general customer inquiries, and customer inquiries for the Serving It Right and FOODSAFE by Distance Education programs, as well as providing general administrative support. Sherry has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a certificate in graphic design from Computacion Integral in El Salvador.

STEPHANIE MALLALIEU, INDUSTRY HEALTH & SAFETY SPECIALIST
Stephanie joined go2HR in 2016, and is responsible for increasing industry engagement in health and safety and the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. Recently relocating from the UK to Canada, Stephanie brings more than 16 years’ health and safety experience to the team, with a particular focus on the food services sector. She has previously held senior positions in the UK and overseas, supporting businesses with their food hygiene and health and safety programs. Stephanie holds a M.Sc. in Food Safety Management from the University of Central Lancashire, a B.A. in Tourism and Business Management from the University of Birmingham and a General Certificate from The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health, England.
