Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson, BC is looking for a full-time, Evening Laundry Attendant.

Laundry Attendants have a great work/life balance and can enjoy a flexible working schedule. We can tailor your hours between another job, school, and/or your childcare schedule.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for a variety of laundry and housekeeping services to maintain the presentation of guest rooms and public areas of the property on a daily basis in accordance with standards set by Prestige Hotels & Resorts. The Laundry Attendant must ensure hotel quality and guest satisfaction at all times and assists guests whenever possible.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Duties:

Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with Prestige Hotels & Resort’s policy

Greet guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner

Perform daily laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying and folding linens

Assist with stripping rooms, bed making and public area cleaning

Become familiar with various room types

Handle lost and found items

Maintain security measures

Restock housekeeping carts daily with supplies

Observe and report any repairs needed

Prior experience is an asset, but is NOT required

Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public

Must be available to work afternoons and evenings

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
