Locally owned and operated on Quadra Island
The Q is a new 32+ seat Golf Course Restaurant offering delicious Bistros Style food, warm comfy eatery and glorious views.
Previous experience in Bistro\Pub style foods
Quick and organized handling all aspects of food preparation in a small eatery.
Administrative, creative and relationship skills
Ability to multitask and stand for long periods
Food Safe
Whimis
Must live on Quadra Island.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

* Oversee food production menu to plate operations
* Provides high quality food in a professional and efficient manner
* Compliance with all VIHA health and safety, licencing and labour regulations
* Staff training and scheduling, maintain labour relations and ‘Q’ standards
* Ordering\receiving\storing food, monthly Inventory control and Food and Labor costing
* Manage kitchen staff hiring in conjunction with F&B Manager
* Staff training and scheduling, maintain labour relations and ‘Q’ standards
* Maintain equipment, kitchen hygiene and reports anomalies to F&B Manager
* Maintain open respectful communications with F&B Manager and restaurant staff
