Job Description

Vancouver’s most iconic sightseeing business, operating Classic Trolley Buses, is looking to hire new stars to join its Hop-On, Hop-Off Trolley team.
Is showing off Vancouver to guests from around the world appealing to you?
Are you a self-driven, outgoing individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented culture?
Do you possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License and would describe yourself as professional and helpful – then we want to meet you.
Your Responsibilities:
Operate a Trolley bus on a predetermined, scheduled route in Downtown Vancouver, ensuring the safety of passengers.
Keep a punctual schedule
Put our guests first, safety and enjoyment
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
Execute tasks to uphold safe, clean, cost-effective, and consistently on-time operating performance.
Promote our partners in industry
Communicate effectively and professionally over radio/phone/app systems with our operations and sales teams.
Demonstrate adaptability to changing traffic patterns, street closures, or detours.
Accurately handle credit transactions using point-of-sale machines.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What We Are Looking For In You
Friendly and outgoing personality with a focus on exceptional guest service.
Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class 1 or Class 2 with Air Brake endorsement, along with a clean driver abstract.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, with availability to work any day of the week, and a willingness to work 8-11 hour shifts.
Previous experience in a customer service role.
Familiarity or willingness to learn App/Tablet systems to conduct the daily tasks
Capable of working independently with minimal direction and collaboratively within a team.
Fluency in English (both written and oral); knowledge of a second language is a bonus.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
