Job Description
Prestige Prince George Lodge is looking for a part-time Breakfast Attendant. A Breakfast Attendant oversees all aspects of the breakfast service including preparing food for guests, providing excellent customer service, and performing cleaning duties. This role is suitable for someone that is an early riser and has an eye for detail to operate the breakfast room.

A Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast for hotel guests in our complimentary breakfast area. The main tasks revolve around creating a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring that they are prepared maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Presentation (Front and Back of House):
– Prepare, cook, and set up breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, etc. according to brand and food safety standards
– Monitor food and beverage levels and restock as needed during service
– Brew and maintain coffee, tea, and juice stations
– Ensure proper food handling, labeling, and storage procedures are followed
Set-Up & Clean-Up (Front and Back of House):
– Set up the dining area and kitchen before breakfast service begins
– Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils before and after service
– Break down and clean up the breakfast area and kitchen once service ends
– Dispose of trash, recyclables, and compost properly
Guest Service:
– Greet guests warmly and ensure a pleasant, welcoming breakfast experience
– Provide information about menu items, service hours, and hotel amenities
– Maintain the dining area, ensuring it remains clean and inviting throughout breakfast service
Dishwashing:
– Operate the dishwasher and hand-wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans as needed
– Ensure all dishware is clean, sanitized, and properly stored
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and prep areas
Inventory & Supplies:
– Monitor supply levels and report low stock to management
– Assist with receiving and organizing food and supply deliveries
Quality Control:
– Monitor the cooking process to ensure food is prepared to the correct temperature and quality
– Present dishes in an appealing manner, according to hotel standards
Compliance & Safety:
– Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as required by local regulations and brand standards
– Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly
Food Safety:
– Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure food is cooked safely and served at the appropriate temperature
– Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following health and safety standards
– Regularly clean kitchen equipment, counters, and utensils
Working Conditions:
– Early morning shifts (e.g., 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM) to prepare meals for breakfast service
– Fast paced and high-pressure environment, especially during busy hours
– May involve working weekends and holidays, depending on needs of the hotel
