Executive Director, Backcountry Lodges of BC Association

With over three decades of leadership in BC’s adventure, tourism and ski sector, Brad brings a well-rounded perspective grounded in both operations and policy. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Backcountry Lodges of BC Association, representing a key part of BC‘s winter tourism economy. Brad is also an avalanche forecaster at Sun Peak Resort and the owner/operator/guide with Colwest Alpine Adventures and previously with Golden Alpine Holidays. Brad‘s academic experience includes teaching and program coordination roles at Thompson River University, helping to develop the next generation of Canadian mountain ski guides. Brad has held leadership roles on numerous provincial committees and boards, including the chair of the CCA’s InfoEX advisory committee and chair of the Adventure Tourism Coalition.
