Job Description

The Breakfast Cook / Baker and Housekeeper is responsible for preparing breakfast service items outlined in a predetermined menu plan. Also responsible for housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Qualifications

– Minimum 3-5 years professional cooking and baking experience is an asset
– Food Safe Certification
– WHIMIS Certification
– Great communication. Speak, read and write in English
– Team player and able to provide support, motivation and encouragement to others
– Excellent attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
– Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Maintain a professional experience at all times
– Works safely and responsibility

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Breakfast Cook/Baker
– Provide excellent customer service and upholds the LandSea reputation
– Maintaining a minimum of 70% Scratch baking
– Keeps kitchen tidy and sanitized. Works within all Food Safe guidelines
– Ensures groceries are stocked as well as kept organized and adhering to FIFO
– Assisting with inventory counts if required
– Putting away grocery orders in a neat and timely manner

Housekeeping
– Provide first-class customer service
– Make beds, changes linens, comforters and towels
– Remove garbage and high / low dusting
– Cleaning bathrooms every day
– Manage room changeover cleans by inbound and outbound lists
– Maintain laundry and linen rooms
