Cook position: Sabhai Thai is a family-owned and operated Authentic Thai restaurant. The Sirimalalak family opened their doors in 2006 and have been voted the number 1 Ethnic Food restaurant in Sidney every year since. The Sabhai menu is made from scratch, using traditional Thai recipes and ingredients. There are a variety of dishes to choose from for everyone, including meat, vegetarian, and vegan meals.
This position is at Sabhai Thai Restaurant, Langford Location: 2800 Jacklin Rd, Victoria, BC V9B 5A4
Job duties:
· Consistently prepare ingredients,
· Processes raw goods, ensures proper storage and handling of food,
· Correctly prepares foods according to recipes and or instruction,
· May assist in supervising kitchen helpers, as needed,
· Record and report supplies needed in the kitchen,
· Able to run various pieces of kitchen equipment,
· Prepare items to meet daily requests and prepare support items as required,
· Clean the kitchen area, and
· Must abide by all kitchen rules, schedules, and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Skill / Experience Requirements:
Experience in Thai cuisine
FOODSAFE certificate is an asset.
Education – Completion of Secondary (High) School.
Work – 1 year of experience as a Cook.
Language – Must have good English communication Skills.
Work Site Environment –Standing for extended periods
