Job Description

We are currently seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The dishwasher is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware. You are hardworking and can quickly rearrange your workflow to immediately get your fellow team members the right type of dishes they need. The dishwasher is responsible for washing dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean chinaware, glassware, silverware and cooking utensils. Scrub pots and pans. Other responsibilities include but not limited to, mopping and removing trash. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper stocking and storage of items and maintaining equipment. Clearing bus stations and bring them into the kitchen to clean. Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all dishwashing areas. Transport and place clean service ware for events and functions. Ensuring the dish washing area and staff room is clean and organized. Assist the culinary team when required, this may include preparation of food items.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, required. Relevant experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry, preferred. Ability to lift heavy equipment/items – up to40 lbs. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 40 lbs. Must be able to work in varying temperature. Able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours in length. You may be exposed to elevated noise levels. Required to work with chemicals.
Must have strong English communication skills, understanding and verbal. Required to be able to work varying shifts, and consistent hours. Food Safe an asset. Must follow all policies and procedures and Brand Standards.

Salary/Wage

24.66 -27.40
