Job Opportunity:

We are looking for extraordinary personalities to join our growing team as both a tour guide and a driver! Do you enjoy talking to new people from all over the world and going out of your way to make their day? Are you a warm, friendly, thoughtful and outgoing team player that would fit in with our team and our unique culture? With our business adapting and growing with the ever-changing tourism industry, we require independent self-starters available to work a flexible full-time schedule. Reporting to the Operations Manager, tour guides conduct daily sightseeing tours while driving 24-30 passenger buses.

A day in the life of a Landsea Tour Guide:

As a guide, you’re responsible for running a fun, safe, and orderly tour. Start the day by ensuring your vehicle is safe to drive and will be comfortable for your guests. Organize pickups from hotels located near Vancouver’s airport or downtown before hitting the road. Deliver captivating commentary on tour, while maintaining defensive driving habits. Finally, have a great day!

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the role You!

● You have a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license or higher

● You’re friendly, welcoming and love talking to people

● You work well both independently and as part of a team

● You have strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills

● You have strong communication skills and attention to detail

● You’re flexible to changing environments

● You have basic computer skills

● You are willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime

● You’re legally entitled to work in Canada

● You’re able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

● You’re fluent in English, both written and oral

Assets to this role (but not required):

● In-depth knowledge of Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria

● Previous experience in a customer service role

● Post-secondary training or work experience in tourism or hospitality

● Demonstrable mechanical aptitude

● A class 2 or 4 (unrestricted) license

● Familiarity with driving large vehicles

● Ability to speak other languages

Salary/Wage

22.00 - $25.00 per hour
