Job Description
Join the FUN and dynamic Employee Experience Team this winter at Cypress Mountain! If you have a
passion for people, a knack for fostering a positive work environment and are invested in supporting the Team, this is the role for you! Responsibilities include uniform inventory and distribution, responding to emails, allocating applications and facilitating FUN Team events.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
• Respond to general questions from Team members.
• Assist with data entry in the Dayforce system.
• Host daily online question forum.
• Perform daily uniform distribution activities and maintain uniform inventory control system.
• Compile content and help manage the employee website and newsletters.
• Chair Party Planning committee and bring committee suggestions forward for approval.
• Assist in planning, executing and hosting Team member events.
• Help improve employee experience initiatives.
• Process and maintain periodic reports as requested.
• Attend and promote Cypress Mountain and available roles at Job Fairs when needed.
• Provide support with the international recruitment programs.
• Plan and execute the internal Spring Job Fair.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to set priorities and adapt to changes in a quick, professional manner.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential material.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of team members.
• Passion for outdoor/snowsports activities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual, hardworking, self-motivated, and outgoing.
• Ability to remain organized and courteous when under pressure.
• Dependable and a self-starter – completes tasks independently and follows through.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Highschool or equivalent.
• Previous HR experience an asset but not required.
• Experience in the ski resort, outdoor recreation, hospitality, or tourism industry (an asset).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Legally able to work in Canada.
• Background check.
Salary/Wage
20/hour
