Job Description

The Executive Chef is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchens (19th Hole, Numa, Casino & Banquets). The Executive Chef will perform managerial responsibilities such as scheduling, assigning and directing work and employee management. You would uphold performance standards, policies and procedures such as cooking methods and quality standards while ensuring compliance with food and kitchen-related safety and health regulations. The Executive Chef is expected to cook and assist line cooks in cooking quality food in a clean organized manner and assumes responsibility for the quality of products served.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Red Seal Chef preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef preferred
• Previous Hotel / Resort experience, working with multiple kitchens and dining options
• Experience in banquet culinary service
• Must have a valid food safe certificate
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee certificate of registration from the British Columbia Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch, and a Serving it Right certificate
