The Josie Hotel, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, offers 106 boutique guest rooms and suites, crackling fire pits, a premier fitness facility, and boutique spa overlooking Red Mountain. The Velvet Restaurant & Lounge, The Josie’s full-service dining establishment represents the first culinary-offering of its kind in the region serving up locally-inspired craft cooking.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team! Previous front desk supervisory experience is required for this role.

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you would be responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking out of the hotel, and in responding to guest concerns and inquiries, overseeing the operations of the front desk during your assigned shift, in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What you will be doing each day

As our Supervisor, you will be working with our Front Office Manager and other teams to ensure consistent high quality customer service is delivered by providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. You will be working a rotating schedule, covering shifts on the front desk, while also providing leadership to the team and completing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

1. Computer literacy Hotel
2. PMS experience an asset
3. Service oriented with an eye to supporting your internal guests
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment
5. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
6. Willingness to learn, develop & grow
7. Numerical acuity and high attention to detail
8. Comprehensive understanding of financial data, reporting, & basic arithmetic functions
9. Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
10. Professional presentation
11. Must be willing to work overnights, holidays and weekends
12. Able to perform other duties as required
