We give a duck about our employees, our guests, our communities…and we give a free rubber duck in every Accent Inns room. Now we are looking for a General Manager to join our flock, but there is nothing general about what we are looking for. We are looking for a kind and loving individual who will take charge of the entire hotel operation, enriching the day-to-day experience for our guests and employees.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What the Role is Quacked Up to Be

Supported by our extraordinary team at Rebel Base (that’s what we call our head office, we don’t like to be too corporate-y), you ensure the on-going profitability and overall health of the hotel operations all while living our values to the MAX!

Leadership Development: Be the Ambassador of the hotel. Inspire and actively foster a connection with our unique culture. Lead with enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine positivity to motivate and guide your Fam-Jam.

Culture Architect: Build a culture that values accountability, ideas, and contributions, fostering employee engagement and sustainable success. Consistently recognize and reward the achievements and contributions of your Fam-Jam.

Tough Decisions & Communication: You make tough decisions, communicate the need for change, and embrace difficult conversations. You know that is key to LEADING WITH LOVE.

Hotel Presence: Conduct frequent property walks and room checks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and that the building and guest rooms are in outstanding condition. You also spread fun and happiness to guests and your Fam-Jam while you are at it!

Guest Satisfaction: Creative in guest service recovery, you always seek to understand. You look for ways to delight every guest ensuring the best possible experience making them eager to return.

Financial Management: Frequent review of financial statements and monthly forecasting. You understand how to impact costs and manage expenses.

The Type of Duck You Are

Three to five years of experience in a hotel leadership role
Able to take initiative, action proactively and address issues or opportunities without supervision
Focuses on desired results with clear purpose, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude
Works cooperatively with others to accomplish business goals and objectives
Asks others for their ideas and opinions, supports the team’s decisions, contributes to the team’s efforts
Passion for excellence and exceeding expectations
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize the right work
