In this position, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our hotel guests and be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment guests arrive at the hotel until they check out.

What your day will look like:
• Warmly welcome and assist guests to and from their room and with luggage when necessary.
• Inform guests of in-room amenities.
• Inform guests of all safety features offered in and around their room.
• Promote the hotel outlets, facilities and Marriott Rewards program with our guests.
• Load and unload bags into guest vehicles and tour buses and Valet Park guest vehicles.
• First point of contact for concierge questions about the hotel and its surrounding attractions.
• Assist in the creation of a weekly/monthly Concierge information letter for guests and associates
• Knowledgeable with guest recommendations regarding restaurants, attractions, walking/biking paths, rental cars, YVR etc.
• Answer Front Desk telephones and assist with guest requests and information
• Liaison with restaurants, tour companies and local attraction companies to maintain up to date information for guests and associates
• Maintain organized, clean and orderly lobby, courtyard and storage areas.
• Deliver packages, outside food delivery, mail and completing room checks in a quick and timely manner.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Must have valid class 5 British Columbia driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
• Must be able to drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmission.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills, a second language is an asset.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
• Knowledge of Richmond, Vancouver and its attractions.


$20.00-$22.50 per hour
