Prestige Vernon Lodge & Conference Centre is looking for a full-time Front Desk Agent (also known as a Guest Services Agent).

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities

– Provides courteous and professional guest services
– Utilizes instinctive upselling techniques and negotiate rates to maximize revenue and occupancy levels
– Maintains order and cleanliness at the front desk
– Handles guest accounts
– Assists guests on arrival, departure and during their stay
– Operates the telephone console
– Processes reservation and cancellation requests
– Performs other duties as directed by the General Manager

What does an ideal candidate look like?

– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Front desk experience is an asset but NOT required
– Must be willing to get Basic First Aid
– Available to work evenings and weekends
– Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Salary/Wage

$19 - $19.50 per hour
