Job Description

Park Place Lodge is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and public areas in accordance with company procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest rooms, washrooms, hallways, and public areas.
Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and perform deep-cleaning tasks as required.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure rooms meet quality standards.
Replace guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee service items, and other amenities.
Empty garbage and recycling containers and handle soiled linens appropriately.
Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report damages or required repairs.
Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas.
Follow company policies regarding safety, WHMIS, and cleaning chemical handling.
Ensure all assigned rooms are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage and laundry areas.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Valid authorization to work in Canada at the time of application.
Minimum 7 months to 1 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar cleaning role.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
Positive, professional, and reliable work attitude.

Salary/Wage

20.00 per hour
