Job Description

Bear Country Property Management is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, its projects, day-to-day maintenance and the maintenance attendants.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Supervise workers and projects
Co-ordinate and schedule activities
Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
Train or arrange for training
Estimate costs and materials
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Resolve product and service related problems
Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
Organize and maintain inventory
Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment’s machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
Recommend products or services to customers

Qualifications

Computer and technology knowledge
MS Excel
MS Word
Reservation software
MS Outlook
High School diploma
Maintenance experienced preferred
Valid BC drivers license
