Mundi Hotel Enterprises Inc. is immediately seeking a proactive Hotel Sales Manager for the Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre located in the sunny Kamloops, BC.

The individual must possess excellent communication skills in customer relations to positively support existing relationships, actively target new business to successfully increase overall revenue and market share while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

JOB EXPECTATIONS:
Target new business opportunities through direct outside sales efforts
Build and maintain relationships for both individual and group travel. Including the upkeep of our database to share efforts, successes and further opportunities with the greater sales team
Develop and promote product image and awareness thru direct marketing campaigns and attendance of key market tradeshows and events
Flexibility to assist with other hotels in our portfolio when required
Gain knowledge of all hotels in our portfolio and cross-sell at any opportunity
Prepare sales proposals & contracts to clients incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions
Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers, prospecting, selling and follow up
Maintain a clear line of communication with other team members to ensure success in guest satisfaction
Respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers with clear and concise communications
Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Committed to exceeding guest expectations
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and utilize a variety of hotel & sales computer software applications
Superior written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, to self prioritize
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
An outgoing personality with a friendly, sincere, approachable & energetic spirit
Responsible, accountable and detail oriented
A minimum of two years hotel sales experience and an excellent network of contacts are ideal
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
No criminal record
This position is an onsite role
